How long do three seconds last? Long enough to accelerate to almost 100 km/h in freefall from a height of 27 metres and to display some spectacular tricks. The venues provide an impressive backdrop for the world’s best divers to show their breathtakingly polished acrobatics. This year’s start is at fabulous Rapa Nui, followed by Yucatan, La Rochelle, Boston, Malcesine and Athens, with Yalta hosting the finals.
